Vella Mai Redmon Poston, 88, was born Feb. 20, 1928 to the late John Monroe and Aubrey Adamson Redmon from Keltonburg in DeKalb County and died Jan. 10 at her residence in McMinnville following an extended illness.Ms. Poston lived in Quebeck and Sparta of White County most of her life. She worked at Sparta Shirt Factory, retired from Thomas Industries and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a loving and caring lady who always raised a garden and loved working in her flowers or quilting.
