Tommy M. Rowland, 68, of Rock Island died Tuesday, June 12, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro. He was born Feb. 11, 1944, in Warren County and was an office manager for Gant Oil Company, and a member of Friendship The Baptist Church. Mr. Rowland was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Mary Grissom Rowland and a grandson Nicholas Locke.Survivors include his wife of 49 years Reva Layne Rowland; daughters, Tina (Douglas) Hutchins and Renea (David) Talley all of Rock Island; son, Eddie (Lisa) Rowland, Smithville; sister, Dianne (Johnny) Cothran, Gallatin; and brother, Phillip (Vickie) Rowland, McMinnville; grandchildren, Tyler Hutchins, Kapri and Kylie Talley, and Caleb Rowland.
