Tina Christine Phillips, 39, a McMinnville resident and Tampa, Fla., native was born March 5, 1977 and died Jan. 22 at her residence following an extended illness.She was a former employee of Federal Mogul and daughter of James and Bobbie King of Smithville. In addition to her parents, she is survived by husband Eugene Phillips; stepsons Anthony Phillips of Spencer and Eugene Phillips Jr. of McMinn County; five step-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy King of Mississippi and Patricia Butcher of Smithville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at High’s Chapel with Bryan Jones officiating.
