Thula Wilson Kilgore, 87, a native of Overton County and resident of McMinnville, was born April 21, 1928 and died June 19 at Alive Hospice in Nashville following an extended illness.A homemaker and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Huston and Maude Wilson. She was married to Claude Kilgore, who preceded her in death in 1970. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Velma Wilson of Detroit, Mich., Delcie West of McMinnville, Austa Parker of Greenville, S.C.; and brothers, Haskell Martin “Pete,” William and Gene Wilson, all of McMinnville, and Howard Wilson of Wabash, Ind.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mildred Susan and Roger Bauer of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Betty Boyd of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends.
