Mr. Thomas Linden “Tom” Pedigo, 93, of Murfreesboro died Tuesday, Oct. 22, at NHC HealthCare in Murfreesboro. 

He was born Oct. 13, 1926, in Warren County, was a retired educator, formerly served as Superintendent of the Warren County School System with 55 years of service in the field of education as a coach, teacher, and principal, and was a member of the Church of Christ at Westwood. 

Mr. Pedigo was preceded in death by his parents William Dexter Pedigo Sr. and Nettie Smith Pedigo, wife of 63 years Naomi Parker Pedigo, sisters Hallie Brown and Evelyn Crouse, brothers Eugene Pedigo, Robert Leonard Pedigo, Frank Pedigo, William Dexter Pedigo, Jr. and Kenneth Pedigo, and great grandchild Ellie Ann Reep.

Survivors include his daughter Tamarra Louise Hobbs, sons Timothy Wayne (Carol) Pedigo and Tracy Eugene (Kay) Pedigo, grandchildren Michael David (Brandy) Reep, Miranda Danielle Reep (Jason) Smith, Caley Leigh Pedigo (Drew) Richart, Matthew Dolyn (Leslie) Reep, and Brittni Lynn Pedigo (Andrew) McAlister, great-grandchildren Kadence Smith, Jaelyn Smith, Madison Reep, Elijah Reep, Gavin Reep, Laina Smith, Sadie Reep, Stella Reep, Brantley Blayze Reep, Autumn Grace Richart, and Norah McAlister, sisters-in-law Mary Pedigo and Myrna Pedigo, and many nieces, nephews, and family friends.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Richard O’Connor will officiate. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery. The Pedigo family will receive friends Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at
