McMinnville resident and LaCrosse, Wis. native Thomas Harold Miller, 73, was born Aug. 3, 1949 and died suddenly surrounded by family on May 20, 2023 at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro.

Thomas, also known as “Tom” or “Tommy”, was a retired specialist of 35 years for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Thomas enjoyed being outside gardening, hunting, fishing and woodworking and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His favorite holiday was the Fourth of July. He was the son of the late Harold O. and Alvina M. Marco Miller. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Brian Miller.

He was married to Vivian Miller of McMinnville on July 12, 1969. In addition to his wife, Mr. Miller is survived by children, Aaron (Terri Dunn) Miller and Diana Miller (John) Zenner; ten grandchildren, Matthew Bradford, Dayton Bradford, Jacob Miller, Connor Bradford, Alaiah Miller (Andrew) Cradic, Chynna Bradford (Robert) Anderson, Isabelle Miller, Tristan Miller, Nora Zenner and Lauren Zenner; two great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Mae Hass; brother, Ron Miller; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Dave) Clemmerson and Barb (Tom) Cronk and many nieces and nephews.

Thomas’ family will host a memorial in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. at a later date. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
