McMinnville resident Thomas G. Wood, 53, died Aug. 12 at his home.A carpet installer, he attended Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness and was born in Norwalk, Calif., the son of James and Mary (Ryerson) Wood. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Linda Shavers Wood; son Samuel E. Wood of McMinnville; brother David Wood of California; sisters Lisa Wood and Shelia Wood, both of California; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.He will be cremated and his ashes kept by family.
