Thomas F. Woods, 68, of McMinnville died Sunday, May 5 at his home after an extended illness.He was born in McMinnville on Oct. 1, 1944, the son of the late Jennie (Carr) and Lucius Woods. He was a factory worker at USS Kobe in Lorain, Ohio for 30 years, and was a member of Clark United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers Charles, John, Emmett, and Jim Woods, and four sisters Sarah Woods, Emma Woods, Kathline Brown and Lucille Taylor.He is survived by his wife Josephine (McKinley) Woods of McMinnville, daughters Rose A. Woods and fiancé Roy Paine of McMinnville, and Faith A. and husband Dennis Coonrod of McMinnville, sons Lucius L. and wife Pamela Woods of Columbus, Ohio, Lamar D. and wife Chauntelle Woods of McMinnville, sister Willer Dean McKinley of McMinnville, nine grandchildren T.J., Isaiah, Breanna, Lucius, Aaron, Martin, Tatyanna, Dennis and Christopher, five great-grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.Funeral service is Thursday at 5 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Bro.
