Thomas Daniel Curtis, a native of Tennessee and a resident of Spanish Fort, Ala., passed away on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024, in Quintana Roo, Mexico, at the age of 63.
Tom served 23 years in the United States Army and retired as a Sergeant Major. He was a Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. Tom was an avid football fan, closely following the University of Alabama and New Orleans Saints. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling, quality time with his dogs, staying current on world events and always ate dessert first.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Curtis, Sr. and Joyce Elizabeth Curtis.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Vicki Curtis; his children, Michelle Parker and Zach Curtis; his seven precious granddaughters; siblings, Joe Curtis, Betty Jo Paris and Don Curtis; along with other family members and friends.
Graveside funeral services were held at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 34904 State Hwy. 225 in Spanish Fort, Ala., on Friday, March 8 at 2 p.m.
