Thomas Carr, 82, of Murfreesboro, died Sunday, Dec. 21.He was a native of Overton County and the son of the late Shirley Howard and Earnal Gore Carr. Mr. Carr is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ethel Carr; daughters, Debbie Carr of Ft. Jones, Calif., Karen Carr, Kim Luther and her husband Brad, all of Murfreesboro; sons, Tim Carr and his wife Pam of Dickson and Tom Carr of Columbia; five grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends.Mr. Carr was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and a United States Naval veteran who served during the Korean War.
