McMinnville resident and Atlanta, Ga., native Thomas Brewer, 69, was born Feb. 5, 1946 and died Feb. 17 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. A retired employee from Carrier Corporation, he was the son of the late Henry Roy and Lois Griffith Brewer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandson, Jonathan Hale; two brothers, James and H.R. Brewer; and three sisters, Betty Nations, Ola Mae Davis, and Shirley Couch.
