Thomas Brewer, 69

McMinnville resident and Atlanta, Ga., native Thomas Brewer, 69, was born Feb. 5, 1946 and died Feb. 17 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
A retired employee from Carrier Corporation, he was the son of the late Henry Roy and Lois Griffith Brewer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandson, Jonathan Hale; two brothers, James and H.R. Brewer; and three sisters, Betty Nations, Ola Mae Davis, and Shirley Couch.
He was married March 30, 1968 to Sharon Brock Brewer of the Centertown community. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children and spouses, Anthony and Michelle Brewer and Ray Brewer, all of the Centertown community, and Tonya and Jeff Hale of Smithville; four grandchildren, Brittany McNair and husband Scott, Shelton Brewer, Kayla Hale and Kayce Hale; two brothers and sister-in-law, Warren and Dot Brewer of Riverdale, Ga., and William Brewer of Atlanta; and two sisters, Frances Hawkins of Newnan, Ga., and Ruby Pitman of Monticello, Ga.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at High’s. There will be no service. Memorial contributions may be made to Warren County Relay for Life.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
