Theresa Marlene Posey, 55, of Christiana died unexpectedly Friday, May 24 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born Feb. 21, 1958, in Norfolk, Va., was a waitress, and was preceded in death by her father Troy Maurice Edwards and stepfather Herbert Stewart Ashley.Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Posey; mother, Mary Ashley; children, Shawn Edwards, John Vanbibber, and Tonya Vanbibber; grandchildren, Tristen Vanbibber, Aiden Edwards, and Dillon Edwards; twin brother, Troy (Manuela) Edwards; and sisters, Tonya Hughes, Monica (Rex) Ward, and Julie (Jeff) Cantrell.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Christ United Methodist Church, 200 Chapel Drive. Rev. Lorin Pedigo will officiate.
