McMinnville resident and Chattanooga native, Teresa Faye Black, 75, was born May 30, 1947 and died Oct. 28, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness.           

A retired bookkeeping manager from Regions Bank and a member of Campaign Church of God, she was the daughter of the late James Wilson and Jacqueline Montandon Templeton. She was married to William Black of McMinnville on Nov. 1, 1968.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Gary, Jimmy, Donnie and Barry Templeton.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Black is survived by two children, Tammy Gail Black and William Jason Black, both of McMinnville; sister, Darlene (Bob) Young of McMinnville; sisters-in-law, Judy Templeton Hacksworth and Kathy Templeton Emberton and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022 in High’s Chapel with John Templeton and Jarvis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Saturday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until time of service at High Funeral Home.
