Morrison resident and Warren County native Teddy Lee Collins, 47, was born Sept. 10, 1968 and died April 13 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga following a sudden illness. A nursery worker and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of Mildred Herrin of the Vervilla community and Alford Collins of Athens, Ala. In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by stepfather, Calvin Herrin of Vervilla; stepmother, Peggy Collins of Athens, Ala.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricky and Donna Collins of Viola, Glenn and Michelle Collins of Murfreesboro, and Douglas and Brandy Herrin of Vervilla; sister and brother-in-law, Susie and Bill Wilson of Murfreesboro; two step-brothers, J.R. Herrin and wife Annette of Vervilla and Keith Herrin and wife Deanna of Sparta; two step-sisters, Lorie Frame and husband Mark of Winchester, and Cindy Thaxton of Spencer; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in High’s Chapel with Bill Boyd and Colby Mooneyham officiating.
