Morrison resident and Rutherford County native Tara Lynn Thomas, 39, was born Sept. 22, 1982 and died suddenly on Aug. 6.

A car detailer and a member of the Christian faith, she was the daughter of Cindy Thomas of Morrison, and the late Shane Thomas. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by brother Jace Thomas, daughters Olivia Campbell and Lydia Campbell, grandmother Linda Bradford, grandfather Carl Rackley, grandmother Shirley Rackley and grandfather Bobby Thomas.

In addition to her mother, Ms. Thomas is survived by sons Wesley Bell and Jacob (Sierra) Bell, daughters Sadie Bell and Sophie Campbell, brothers Ryan Thomas and Nick McCormick, special friend Tabathia Barrett, aunts Sharon (Edward) Lawson and Pam (Chris) Cooper, uncles Devin (Jackie) Rackley, Steven Thomas and Stanley Thomas and grandmother Freda Womack.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at High’s Chapel with Michael Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Bascom Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 to 7 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
