Rock Island resident and Davidson County native Stephen Michael Pennington, 51, died May 16 at his home after a brief illness.A construction worker and a member of the Methodist Church, he was the son of the late I.B. and Joan Brinton Pennington.He is survived by his wife, Debbie Pennington of Rock Island; children, Jeremy Pennington of Livingston, Dessa Horn of Texas and Kendra Lafever of Texas; five grandchildren, Morgan Lafever, Jacob and Elizabeth Horn, Katie Robertson and Brianna Pennington; sister, Leanna Pennington of Dickson; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at High’s Chapel with Bill Zechman officiating.
