Stephen Brent Hitchcock, 66, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

Stephen was born Jan. 12, 1957 in McMinnville. He was the son of the late Carl Hitchcock and the late Mildred Hale Hitchcock. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-laws, David Palk and Bill Mathis.

Surviving family includes daughter, Jane Ann (Tim) Bryant; son, Philip Brent (Callie Brooke) Hitchcock; three granddaughters, Elizabeth Grace Bryant, Maddie Rose Bryant and Anna Kate Bryant; two grandsons, Theodore Graham Hitchcock and Preston Blake Hitchcock; four sisters, LaJuana Palk, Kathy Mathis, Carla (Gary)  Pope and Julie Bohannon (Don). Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

The family will have a private service at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations sent to Gath Baptist Church for the cemetery fund in the honor of Steve (6967 Smithville Highway, McMinnville, Tennessee 37110)
