McMinnville resident and Van Buren County native Shirley Mozel Snider Craig, 82, was born Sept. 19, 1939 and died June 20 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following a short illness.

A retired quality control employee of Oster Corporation and member of East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John William and Grace Hillis Snider. She was married to Bobby Craig of McMinnville on July 1, 1961. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Smith L. Snider, Jewell Ted Snider, Billy Ray Snider and Doris Snider.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Craig is survived by daughter and son-in-law Kim and Shannon Buckner of Mt. Juliet, two grandsons Brian and Ethan Buckner of Mt. Juliet and several other family members.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 24, at High’s Chapel with Kevin Key and Mark Doshier officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m., and Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service at High’s. Memorial donations may be made to East End Church of Christ Bible Call.
