Burial will follow at Fredonia Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from noon until time of services. Mrs. Keough died Monday, March 11, at Manchester Health Care.
She was born March 9, 1952 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of the late Joe Sam Robertson and Margaret Marie Caldwell Robertson. Her father was in the United States Air Force and during her youth, the family moved quite a bit. She graduated from Warren County High School in 1970 and much later moved to Manchester to be closer to her daughter. Shirley had a very special ability to connect with people. As a result, she truly loved people and was a gifted caregiver for the mentally disabled. She also served as a devout member of AA for over 18 years. Shirley was a spiritual person, a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her spouse, Kenny Keough.
Survivors include her loving, devoted daughter, Katrina Banaski and husband, Richard of Manchester; four grandchildren, Gage Hutchings, Ella Hutchings, Brooke Banaski and Christian Banaski; two stepsons, Christopher Keough and Lance Keough; one sister, Sue Downs and husband, Richard of Antioch; and special niece, Melody Goodwin.
