Shirley A. Rotert Rackley, 68, a McMinnville resident and Cleveland, Ohio native was born Dec. 27, 1947 and died Dec. 25 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.
She was a retired employee of the McMinnville City Police Department and daughter of Margaret Helen Rotert of Willowick, Ohio and the late Norman Russell Rotert. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by great-grandchildren, Olivia and Lydia Campbell.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by husband, Carl Edward Rackley; two daughters and spouses, Jodi Martin (Christopher) Di Domenico of Willowick, Ohio and Lori Martin (Troy) Baker of Arnold, Md.; three grandchildren, Gianna Di Domenico, Jonah Baker and Noah Baker; three step-daughters and spouses, Sharon (Edward) Lawson of Rock Island, Pam (Chris) Cooper of McMinnville and Cindy (Shane) Thomas of Morrison; step-son and spouse, Devin (Jackie) Rackley of McMinnville; eight step-grandchildren, Beth Hollandsworth of Rock Island, Ryan Thomas and Jace Thomas of Morrison, Alicia Lawson, Tara (Dale) Campbell, Ashlyn Cooper and Rachel Cooper and Trayton Rackley all of McMinnville; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers and spouses, Carl (Nancy) Rotert of Eastlake, Ohio and Robert (Dawna) Rotert of Mentor, Ohio; sister, Patricia Rotert of Willowick, Ohio; two nieces; three nephews; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29 in High’s Chapel. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com
