Morrison resident and Warren County native Sherry Davis Hallum, 68, was born Jan. 28, 1955 and died suddenly, Jan. 30, 2023 at her residence.          

A sales associate with Great Western Bag Company and a member of Morrison Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Mary Ruth Davis of Morrison and the late John Paul Davis. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Elmer and Linnie Davis; maternal grandparents, Walter and Louise McMahan; and brother, John Timothy Davis.

In addition to her mother, Ms. Hallum is survived by daughter, Jill Hallum Mullican (Felix Jimenez) of St. Albans, Vt.; grandson, Bentley Blackston Mullican; nephew, John Marshall Davis (Madison Smartt) and many, many special cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4 in High’s Chapel with Chris Perry and John Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Coffee County. Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service at High Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boyd Christian School or Meals on Wheels.
