Scottie Ray Gilbert, 46, a Morrison resident and Warren County native, died Jan. 2 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. He was an employee with Highland Rim Construction Company, a member of the Church of Christ and son of Junetta Gilbert of McMinnville and the late Billy Howard Gilbert. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Barry Hale.Mr. Gilbert was married July 1997 to Cynthia Rackley Gilbert of Morrison who survives.
