Sarah Mason Osment, 80, of McMinnville died Saturday, July 20 at her residence. She was born June 6, 1933, in DeKalb County and was a homemaker, a former inspector with Coca-Cola, and a member of Locust Street Church of God. Mrs. Osment was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Ardelia Adcock Mason, her son James Everett Osment, and her sisters Dafodean Jones Hillis and Daris Fay Morgan.Survivors include her husband of 62 years Everett (Sonny) Osment, daughters Patricia Osment Olson and Lacricia Marten and husband Derek, sister Goldie Ruth Black and husband David, brother Maris Ray Mason and wife Margie, grandchildren Brandon James Sweeten and wife Jessica, O.J. Febus and wife Missy, Amanda Marten, Allie Marten, and Chad Everett Osment and wife Janie, and great-grandchildren Destani, Keely, Aiden, and Canyon Sweeten and Terry Everett Osment.Funeral services were held Monday, July 22 at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
