Sam E. Womack, 71, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born Aug. 21, 1946 and died Oct. 24 at his residence following an extended illness.He served in the Tennessee Army National Guard, was a self-employed nurseryman, member of the Church of Christ and son of the late William Samuel and Frances Mildred Evins Womack. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Graelyn Womack, and sister Nancy McGregor. Mr. Womack was married March 16, 1968 to Melinda Ramsey Womack, who survives.
