Sallie R.E. Bryan, 89, a Vicksburg, Miss., resident and Warren County nativ, died Feb. 21 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, Miss., following an extended illness.Mrs. Bryan was the daughter of the late John Riley and Izzie Arnettie Gilley Barnes. She was a homemaker and member of Charles Creek The Baptist Church. She wrote numerous songs and prayers and sang her songs in church.She was married to Edward Kermit Bryan, Sr. who preceded her in death April 22, 1980.
