Ruth Pauline Cantrell, 76, of Smithville, passed away Monday morning at her daughter’s residence in McMinnville. She was born Oct. 11, 1939 to her parents, the late Hershell and Martha Harriett Martin Judkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Cantrell, Sr.; two sons, Melvin Shehane and Anthony “Buck” Ferrell; daughter, Felicia (Johnny) Cantrell; two granddaughters, Bridgette Bates and Jennifer Shehane; four brothers, Jack, Ed, Frank A., and Jess Judkins; one sister, Betty Judkins.
