Ruth Jeanette Vaughn, 79, Walling resident and White County native, was born Jan. 23, 1933 and died Nov. 16 at Life Care Center of Sparta following an extended illness.A farmer and homemaker and a member of Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Willie Mae Wiggington Seals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ellen Seals, Helen Armstrong and Prietta Seals; granddaughter, Lauren Rachel Vaughn; and son-in-law, Michael Jordan.She was married Sept. 15, 1952 to Clyde Terrell Vaughn of Walling, who survives.
