Spencer resident and Painesville, Ohio native Ruth Ann Goerndt McGuire, 73, died unexpectedly Aug. 4 at Skyridge Medical Center in Cleveland.A homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy Mae Thiede Goerndt and was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Cooper McGuire; sister, Mary Lou Goerndt and brother, Robert (Bob) Goerndt.She is survived by sister, Jean Carol Dodson of McDonald; sisters-in-law, Ruth R. McGuire of McMinnville and Ann Goerndt of Eastlake, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at High’s Chapel with burial following at Long Cemetery.
