Ruby Pauline Pennington, 84, of McMinnville died Saturday, Jan. 26, at Raintree Manor after an extended illness.She was born in McMinnville on Dec. 24, 1928, a daughter of the late Alda Mae (Judkins) and Sam M. Jones. She worked as a nurse and was a member of the Baptist Church.She is survived by two daughters, Nancy K. Luna of Manchester, Karen A. Pennington of Sarasota, Fla.; son Ronny H. Pennington of Antioch; sister, Wilma McComick of Muncie, Ind.; and brother Bobby Jones of McMinnville; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by husband, Gaston E. Pennington, parents, Sam M. and Alda (Judkins) Jones, son, Terry Pennington; two daughters, Judy Goodwin and Sharon Wallace, two sisters and one brother.Funeral service was held Tuesday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Danny Barnes officiating. Interment followed at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
