Ruby Faye McBride Young, 83

Morrison resident and Warren County native Ruby Faye McBride Young, 83, was born Nov. 13, 1931 and died Nov. 24 at her residence following a 10-month illness.
A retired employee of Magnetek and a member of New Bildad Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Will and Ethel Lewis McBride. She was married to Charlie Young, who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by grandson, Randy Young; seven sisters, Marie Thompson, Molly Hillis, Willie Snider, Mae Bouldin, Enzie Stanley, Velma Lamb and infant sister, Irene McBride; and two brothers, Cliff McBride and Frank McBride.
She is survived by three stepchildren of 52 years, Larry Wayne Young of Tullahoma, Charles E. Young and wife Janet of Carthage, and Paul Young of Morrison; five grandchildren, Lori Cope, Dana Woodside, Penny Brown, Paula Wanamaker and Cheryl Walden; several nieces and nephews; and eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in High’s Chapel with Ricky Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at Shellsford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
