Ruby Allison Hill Willie, 75, died Tuesday, March 15, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga after a brief illness. 
She was born in McMinnville on Dec. 9, 1940 to Marcus Hill Sr. and Robby Etta Hobbs Hill, who preceded her in death along with her son, Roger Dale Willie; brother, Joe C. Hill; sisters, Clara Louise Bjerke, Anita Grace “Tincy” Thomas, Sadie Bernice Russell and Mary Elizabeth “Sister” Vanhorn; niece, Nancy Perry; nephew, Jackie Brown; Bennie Clara Stewart.
She was a member of Cumberland Baptist Church and had been residing at the Bridge at Monteagle Nursing Home.
She is survived by her son, Frank “Randy” Willie; brothers, Marcus H. Hill Jr. and Ronald Hill, sisters, Bennie Frances Stewart and Barbara Ann Bloodworth; nephews Wayne and Nicholas Perry; niece, Vicki Perry (Michael) Cummings; many other nieces and nephews, and her family and friends at the Bridge.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Layne Funeral Home chapel with ministers Alton Scruggs and Jeff Hill officiating with burial to follow at Hunerwadel Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Layne Funeral Home in Altamont, www.laynefuneralhome.com.
