Roger Kent Cook, 78

Roger Kent Cook, 78, a Warren County native and resident, was born June 12, 1939 and died March 29 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following a five-week illness. He was a popular column writer for the Southern Standard for 50 years, a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ and son of the late Leaman and Elva Golden Cook. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Leaman Golden Cook and Dale Cook.
