Robert Wayne Hill, 62, a McMinnville resident and native, died May 10 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness. He was a deputy with the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, a U.S. Air Force veteran and son of the late Grady Howard and Mary Alice Sims Hill.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Grady Howard Hill Jr. and Joseph Lee Hill and grandson R.C. Merriman.Mr. Hill was married June 27, 1973 to Dianne Hall Hill, who survives.He is also survived by three daughters, Sherry (Kevin) Creek, Robin Hill and Denise Hill and Charlie Merriman, all of McMinnville; three grandsons, Sylas Paul Hill, Thomas Ryder Hill and Amalek Merriman, all of McMinnville; two sisters Ann (Wesley) Jones and Sandra England of McMinnville; three brothers, Randy Hill of Tullahoma, and David Hill and Jeff (Brenda) Hill of McMinnville. Funeral service was held Tuesday in High’s Chapel with Bobby Pennington officiating.
