Robert Nelson Young, 54, of McMinnville died Saturday, Sept. 5, at Saint Thomas River Park. He was born Oct. 15, 1960, in Nashville and was a graduate of Belmont University, a health physicist with the state of Tennessee, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Young was preceded in death by his parents Charles Thurman and Ruth Charlton Young.Survivors include his wife, Judy Blackwell Young; sister, Anita (Randy) Fowler; nephew, Zakk Fowler; niece, Abbey Fowler; cousins, Jeanie Marie Beard, Terry (Carol) Charlton and Kathy (Wade) DesHotels; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Ron) Forbes, Dene (Terry) Ashworth and Patsy (Harry) Rains; brother-in-law, Jerry Wayne Blackwell; and special uncle by marriage, Robert Carney.
