Walling resident and White County native Robert L. Glenn, 75, was born July 4, 1937 and died June 10 at his residence.A retired truck driver with Amerigas and a United States Army veteran, he was the son of the late James Austin and Edna Estelle Fisher Glenn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, J.L. Glenn.He was married Aug. 11, 1957 to Melba Breedlove Glenn of Walling. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Wayne Glenn of Rock Station, and Charles Glenn of Campaign; five sisters, Lucille Roberts of Walling, Mary Johnson of Warren, Mich., Juanita White of Monterey and Carolyn Vinson and Brenda Young, both of Sparta, and several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at High’s Chapel with Steve Breedlove officiating.
