Robert Kendall Davis Jr., 70, a Rock Island resident and San Jose, Costa Rica native, died Dec. 13 at his residence following a three-year illness.He was a disabled United States Army veteran, a member of Campaign Church of God, and son of the late Robert K. and Joan H. Hamlin Davis Sr.Mr. Davis was married Feb. 18, 1978 to Marilyn Hamilton Davis, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Mildred C. O’Hara, Edward F. O’Hara, Kenneth P. O’Hara, Timothy S. O’Hara and Donna L. O’Hara, all of Ocala, Fla., Robert K. Davis III and Kirk A. Davis, both of Boliva, N.C., Dale R. O’Hara of Portsmouth, Va., and Lidia Cubas of Union City, N.J.; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and sister, Kathy Presley of Ocala.Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in High’s parlor with pastor Jeff Kesley to officiate. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at High’s.High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
