McMinnville resident and Warren County native Robert Dee Jones, 75, died Jan. 11 at River Park Hospital after an extended illness.A maintenance worker with Warren County Schools, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and a member of Shellsford Baptist Church, he was the son of the late John and Julia McCormick Jones; and was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters.He is survived by his wife, Linda Powell Jones; children and spouses, Gail and Pete Murray of Morrison, Robert Dale and Lynn Jones, Gina and Darryl Keener, all of McMinnville; grandchildren, Eli Jones, Sarah and Dennis Keener, Breydon and Bailey Jones; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and John Jones of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at High’s Chapel with Jon Kent officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at High’s.
