Mr. Robert Clyde Holder, 75, of Murfreesboro died Tuesday, Nov. 13, at NHC Health Care Center in Murfreesboro.

He was born Jan. 31, 1943 in Warren County, was an electrician at Samsonite, and was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Holder was preceded in death by parents R.P. Holder and Leota Newby Gentry and stepmother Oma Lee Holder.

Survivors include his wife Gail Steakley Holder, children Robert Timothy (Staci) Holder, Mona Elgin, and Marilyn Lenese Higbee, siblings Carol Lance, Kennith Holder, and Orris Holder, brother-in-law Fred Steakley Jr. and grandchildren Nathan Davenport, Jamison Davenport, Jackson Holder, Carson Higbee, Cole Higbee, Madelyn Holder, and Mikaela Holder.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Herb Alsup and Jamie Byrom will officiate. Interment will follow at Centertown Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., and again Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
