Robert “Bob” Johnson, 89, of Gulf Shores, Ala., formerly of Lebanon, died March 9.
Mr. Johnson was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Century Electric and from Mueller Industries. He was preceded in death by son Howard Eugene “Gene” Johnson, wives Beulah Breedlove Johnson and Ora Boyd Johnson, stepdaughter Frances Mitchell, stepson Bill “Billy” Boyd, parents John and Lennie Bell Johnson, and brother LeRoy Johnson.
He is survived by sons: Robert (Judy) Johnson of Lexington, S.C., and James (Marie) Johnson of Gulf Shores, Ala.; grandchildren Tim Johnson, Shannon (Isabell) Johnson, Ashley (Christy) Johnson of Lexington, S.C., Greg (Ashli) Johnson of Cookeville, Kim (Scott) Foutch of Smithville, and Sonya (Tim) Knox of Woodbury; siblings Grandville (Mary) Johnson of Atlanta, Ga., Franklin (Norma) Johnson and Betty June Griffin of Chattanooga, and Loraine Elrod of Chatsworth, Ga.; and numerous great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren; and Dottie, Christy, Robin, Sharon, and Susie with Community Hospice of Baldwin County.
The family will receive friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m., and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service. Services, conducted by Bro. Tim Knox, are at 1 p.m. Thursday. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery, Tuckers Crossroads.
