McMinnville resident and Warren County native Robert “Bob” Dudley Chisam, 82, was born Dec. 22, 1931 and died Feb. 17 at his residence following an extended illness.A retired gas attendant with Lester’s Service Station in Painesville, Ohio and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Bernice James and Mallie Rankhorn Chisam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Bryan Chisam and James Wilbur Chisam; and three half-brothers, Billy Jene Chisam, Roosevelt Chisam and John Chisam.He was married to Janet “Jan” Chisam of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Karen Kay and Elmer Lee Davidson of Valls Creek, W.Va.; granddaughter, Sheri Davidson of Valls Creek, W.Va.; half-brother, Charles Chisam and wife Shirley of McMinnville; nieces and nephews, Susan and Eddie McCormick of Bone Cave; Joyce and Doug Keener of Morrison; Beth and Kevin Woodlee of McMinnville; Kathy and Ricky Priest of McMinnville; James and Loretta Chisam of Spencer, Denna and Justin Byrd of Springfield, Va., and Jeffery and Sandra Short of Springfield, Va.; great-nieces and great-nephew, Anastasia, Kimberly and John Chisam; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Clifford and Betty Short of Springfield, Va.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in High’s Chapel with Michael Gass officiating.
