Mr. Ricky P. Lance, 68, of McMinnville died Friday, Jan. 1, at his home.

He was born June 16, 1952, in McMinnville, and was the owner of his auto body shop “Rick’s Place” for 38 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed being a motorcyclist, and was a ’52 Chevy enthusiast. Mr. Lance was preceded in death by his father J.V. Lance and sister Vickie Ammon.

Ricky is survived by his wife Carol N. Lance, daughter Teresa Lance (Mason) Lynch, brothers Roger Dale (Marie) Lance and Lanny Lance, and sister Wavel.

Graveside service and interment will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at Whitlock Cemetery. David Griffith will officiate. Everyone will meet at the cemetery for the service as there will be no public visitation at the funeral home. Social distancing and wearing facemasks is strongly encouraged.
