Ricky Eugene Spivey, 48, of Rock Island died Wednesday, May 1, at his residence.He was born Dec. 30, 1964, in Hamtramck, Mich., to Jerry E. Spivey and Sue Spivey. He was a tool and die machinist, and a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Malcolm and Nannie B. Jones Spivey; and his maternal grandparents, Jim and Clara Henley Ramsey.Survivors include son Cody Ryan Spivey of Manchester; daughter Tabitha Brook Spivey of Hillsboro; grandson, Gage Korbin Spivey; several aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro.
