Rock Island resident and Bristol native Richie Taylor, 39, was born Oct. 19, 1977 and died Feb. 7 at his residence following an extended illness.A welder with Tennessee Metal Fabricating and a member of Laurel Creek Baptist Church, he was the son of Donnie and Charlotte Taylor of Rock Island. He was married Nov. 18, 2012 to Margaret Seals Taylor of Rock Island. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by son Richard Logan Blayne Taylor of Rock Island; two stepdaughters Katherine Danielle Taylor and Alisha Renee Taylor, both of Rock Island; uncle and aunt, Bobby G. and Carolyn Taylor of McMinnville; and several cousins also survive.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at High’s Chapel with Roy Terry and Steve Breedlove officiating.
