Richard Douglas Martin, 68, of McMinnville died Thursday, April 17, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.
He was born Aug. 28, 1945 in Warren County and was a former employee of Rockford Textile Mill, was a Baptist, and a member of The Redemption Center. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Ida Mae Tosh Martin.
 Survivors include his wife, Janette Keathley Martin; children, Tim (Crystal) Martin and Tammy Annette Martin; grandchildren, Nikki Martin, Tyler Kyle Martin, and Kaleb Coker; his sisters, Gladys Pike and Margaret Ann Abston, and his brothers James Martin, G.A. Martin, and Robert Martin, all of McMinnville.
 Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at The Redemption Center, 127 Northgate Drive, McMinnville. Steve Madison will officiate. Interment will follow at Old Bybee Chapel Cemetery. The Martin family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 8 p.m., and again Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Redemption Center. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels.
