Richard Daniel Rogers, 76, of Denton, TX, passed away Saturday, Oct. 2 in Corinth, TX. He was born June 28, 1945 in McMinnville to Omega McBride.
Richard is survived by his three sons, Ricky Rogers and wife Ginger of Westfield, IN, Jimmy Rogers and wife Sara of Oak Point, TX, and Devin Rogers and wife Sarah of McMinnville; daughter, Sharon Wagner and husband Bob of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Jacinda Rogers, Isaac Rogers, Aaron Rogers, Chassity Scott, Alexandria Wagner, and Aidan Wagner; two great-grandchildren; brother, James McBride; sisters, Kathryn Bottoms, Joyce Matheny, and Jeri Hillis; half-brother, Robert Lawson; four half-sisters, Linda Truman, Norma Hobbs, Nancy Anderson, and Judy Immonen; cousin, Tommy Needum and wife Julie of Celina, TX; and Richard’s wife of 46 years, Kathy Rogers of Denton, TX.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Omega; grandparents, Ernest and Willie McBride; brother, Glen McBride; sister, Christine Needum; three half-brothers, Eddie Lawson, Steve Lawson, and Ernie Lawson; and cousin, Hal Needum.
Visitation will be held 6:30-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 6 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, TX. A visitation will also be held 1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 10 at Smyrna Cemetery in McMinnville with a graveside service beginning at 2 p.m.
