Rev. Bishop Billy Gene Nunley, 69

McMinnville resident and Grundy County native Rev. Bishop Billy Gene Nunley, 69, died unexpectedly Oct. 11 at River Park Hospital.
An electrical engineer with Accu-Router and a member of First Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Faith, he served his country in the U.S. Army and was preceded in death by his father, Webster Felix Nunley.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara White Nunley; children and their spouses, Lynn Nunley Rubley and Tim, Shannon Nunley Vanatta, Billy Jason Nunley and Patricia, all of McMinnville, and Brandon Nunley of Atlanta, Ga.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and mother Zelma Nunley of McMinnville.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Faith with Billy Jason Nunley officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. today, and 8 a.m. until 1: 30 p.m. Thursday at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
