McMinnville resident and Cotulla, Texas native Raul Cuellar Mendoza, 86, died Oct. 20 at River Park Hospital.A mechanic, he had a passion for classic cars. He was the son of the late Anicia (Cuellar) and Teodoro Mendoza; and was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Bonner Mendoza and brother, Geronimo Mendoza.He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Matresa A. and Bill Eisenberger of Meeker, Okla., Malissa F. and Ricardo Calvillo of Monroe, Mich.; son, Raul Mendoza Jr. of Plainfield, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Petra and Charles Decker of Meeker, Christina Romero of Florida, Olga Mendoza of Florida, Gloria Mendoza of Colorado, Maria Luz Gonzales of Mesquite, Texas, Sylvia Mendoza, Laly Wylds of Rockport, Texas, Diana and Max Williams of Edinburg, Texas; brother, Paul Valdez of Edinburg; stepdaughter, Terrell D. and Adam Burton; and father-in-law, Robert E. Bonner of McMinnville; and 12 grandchildren.Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with George King, Eugene Wilkerson and Paul Elam officiating.Gardens of Memory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
