Ransom E. Jones, 53, of Ringgold died Sunday, July 1 at his residence.
He attended Brainerd Presbyterian Church and loved to play music, especially his guitar. Ransom worked as VP of Information Technology for PHCG, Inc. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wesley and Marie Jones, and John and Julia Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Jones; daughter, Emilee Jones; parents, John and Joyce Jones of McMinnville; in-laws, Ed and Marj Ross of McMinnville; sister, Catrenia (Anthony) Wanamaker of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Mark Ross of Murfreesboro; nephews, Travis and Dusty Wanamaker, both of McMinnville; niece, Alyshia Wanamaker of McMinnville; and several other family members.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Brainerd Presbyterian Church, 1624 Jenkins Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421, with Rev. Ronald Ragon and Johnathan Schwartz officiating. Entombment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
