Ralph N. Pendleton, 76, of McMinnville died Tuesday, Dec. 27 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro.
He was born on Sunday, March 10, 1940 in McMinnville, the son of the late Charlie Pendleton and Ella Pelham. Ralph was a great Pittsburgh Steelers football fan.
Surviving are one son, Roger Pendleton of McMinnville, two daughters, Trina Sandlin and husband Michael of McMinnville, Celina Rich of Crossville, two sisters, Betty King and husband Austin of McMinnville, Evelyn King and husband Cecil of McMinnville, and one brother Roy Pendleton of McMinnville. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends survive. Eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.
 Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ella Pendleton, ex-wife, Evelyn Roark, several brothers and sisters, and one granddaughter Heather Elaine Sandlin.
 A graveside service was held Thursday, Dec. 29 at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville with Ray Weddington officiating. Interment followed at Mt. View Cemetery, McMinnville. Online condolences may be made to the family at gardensofmemoryfuneralhome.com.
