Ralph E. Christian Sr., 63, of McMinnville died Sunday, Jan. 19, at his residence after a sudden illness.He was born in McMinnville on May 23, 1950, the son of the late Amanda Drucie (Elliott) and William (Laster) Christian.He worked as a truck driver. He is survived by three daughters, Shonda N., and husband Roger Taylor of McMinnville; Misty D. Keech of McMinnville, Cindy L. and husband Junior Pennington of McMinnville; three sisters, Linda F. and husband Billy Cope of McMinnville; Judy G. and husband Billy Lee of McMinnville; Rhonda K. and husband Jerold Pelkey of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Christian Taylor, Casey Taylor, Logan Keech, and Robbie Keech.He was preceded in death by parents, William (Laster) and Amanda Drucie (Elliott) Christian, one son, Ralph (R.C.) Christian Jr., and one sister, Nadine Welch.A memorial service will be held at Smyrna Church of Christ on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Bobby Pennington officiating. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery near McMinnville.
